What if the package is damaged?
If you have received a package that is damaged, please proceese as follows:
- contact Overseas Express at e-mail stete@overseas.hr and state the shipment number from the label on the package
- if damage has occurred, it is necessary to send photos of transport packaging, internal protection and damaged goods
- do not change the contents of the package in order to determine the actual state of the contents of the package
- do not use anything in the package because it is considered that you have acknowledged its correctness by using the content and that the damage occurred to you and not during transport
- do not return the package to the sender before you arranged it with the sender
- save the parcel and all packaging
In case of missing content, the following should be done:
- contact Overseas Express at e-mail stete@overseas.hr and state the shipment number from the label on the package
- be sure to state in the e-mail what you received in the package and what is missing
- save the parcel and all packaging
What documentation is required to report the damage?
1. Damage claim form - a certified letter on your memorandum addressed to Overseas Express in which the following information must be provided:
- the date of receiving of the package
- information about the sender
- shipment number (bar code)
- reason for reporting the damage (type of damage, loss)
- the value of the damaged / lost shipment and the amount for which Overseas Express will be charged
2. Copy of the invoice for damaged / lost package, issued to the recipient (the invoice must indicate the damaged / lost package and it must show the issue date) or other proof of value (example: supplier's invoice).
